In my life I've sold "weed, x, and yae, for the low" / I've sat in jail and have cried when the doors close / I have seen lives go through people's nose / I have seen lives come and go / I have seen "why's" and "don't knows" / I have cried and blew my nose / I have had to see my family behind those windows / I have spent nights in cold pillows / Everyday I wake up and never know what my eyes will see / I live in a world where lies are meant to be / I live in a world where lives are meant to decease / Whether it be from disease, plea's, or please / I've seen things I wish I'd never seen / I have been places I wish I've never been / I have memories I want to erase / I've learned things I want to replace / With new one's that will over take / The hurt I've put in places / In hearts with faces / Understanding is all I can use to displace / Life lessons, are the only way I can say things and not feel disgraced / Life lessons are the only things I can't replace / I have kids I can't even raise / I try to a certain extent but mothers resent / I can't blame the resent / I can only blame the extent / I will have to live 'til the end / I can alter in a sense / But not enough to change the unspent / Not only that, but I can't laugh / I have times where things just aren't humorous / Cause of the times where things have room in me / I have plans to be humoring / But now it is a clue to me / Whether or not I can do these things / Dreams that feel shattered / My life that feels scattered / In the end GOD will have at it / I just pray I have had at it / I am brave and haphazard / I won't stop 'til I nab it / I will see the light which I've never seen / I will continue to count blessings / Boy look at what life has made me / A man that has understanding / a man that will never pass the blame / I am the only one who did this to my life / I am the only one who had these eyes to see what I see and survive / I have lied, cried, and spied / But all in all, "I will survive" / In my life
